Freshly is a subscription meal service delivering fully prepared, ready-to-eat meals directly to customers. As Design Manager (and Senior Designer before that), I developed and established the design system for our homegrown look and feel while managing a team of designers and freelancers.


During my first 3 years at Freshly, I art directed and coordinated biweekly photoshoots to produce all visual assets needed to launch a new weekly meal and market them throughout our digital and offline channels. I led planning from production to asset distribution, including storyboarding, propping, and interdepartmental project management for shoot and meal-related design assets.

Meal Madness Campaign:
Series to increase user engagement and vote which meals customers would enjoy on the menu.

Freshly’s first out-of-home campaign was launched as a test on Chicago El trains. As a new company with low national brand awareness, our objective was to both educate future customers about Freshly’s unique value props and highlight our colorful design and voice aesthetic with eye-catching, engaging ads via full train takeovers.

FreshlyFinds:
The purpose of FreshlyFinds was to create a curated box that provides easy access to better-for-you products to meet a variety of needs across nutrition, health, and wellness. The ask was to brand FreshlyFinds logo and marketing assets, elevating the perception of product value with nutritionist-selected goodies to help live healthier life.
